This report highlights the profound endurance and final blessing experienced by the Messenger of Allah during his final illness. He recounted how he still felt the enduring pain of the poisoned food he had consumed years earlier at Khaybar, describing the sensation of his aorta being affected. Scholars explain that it was a profound miracle that the poison did not instantly kill him when it was first ingested, which served as a clear sign of his prophethood to those around him. By allowing the physical effect of the poison to return years later during his final sickness, Allah honored him with the noble status and rank of martyrdom. This event underscores the extraordinary trials faced by the Prophet and how physical suffering in the path of duty elevates one's spiritual standing.
